Facebook Private Photos

Facebook Private Photos. Any picture that you're tagged in "belongs" to somebody else. Unless it's an image of you that you tagged yourself in.,

If it's a photo of you that you took and tagged yourself in, you "own" the picture, and are for that reason in charge of its personal privacy settings. You can choose "Just Me" from the drown down menu on the image, thus:

Facebook Private Photos

Pictures that others have tagged you in will stay public, even if you remove the tag from that picture Whoever published the image that your tagged in "owns" that image.

To eliminate a tag, click the drop down arrow at the top of the post/ picture and click "Get rid of Tag":

You'll get this notice though:

You can also alter your timeline personal privacy settings. These are mine:

Go to settings from the drop down menu:.

Then choose "Timeline and Tagging".

You'll be able to control what can be published on your timeline, and if you see someone has tagged an image of you, you can remove the tag and select to hide it from your timeline.

Facebook will signal you to anybody who's tagged you in anything on your actual timeline, at the bottom right of your cover image.

In summary, only your very own material can be made private. Anything you've been tagged in by others will be public - but you have the option to conceal this content from your timeline.

Hope Facebook Private Photos this helps!
