Facebook Photo Covers

Part I: Getting The Dimensions Right

1. The best ways to modify a Cover Image: 851 x 315 px

You cannot upload a cover picture that's less than 720 px wide. For sharp, crisp images, begin with a canvas that's two times the size (1702 x 630 px). For images with text or graphics, you may get a greater quality outcome by using a PNG file.

A. Go to Fotor.com and click edit a photo, Basic Edits, and after that Crop. Ensure your picture is at least 851 x 315 pixels prior to you start. Under Crop, key in 851 x 315 and crop the photo.

B. Save As: Make sure to conserve it under the Excellent quality settings and wait to a convenient place that you will have the ability to find later.

2. Profile Image: 160 x 160 px.

Profile images must be at least 180 x 180 px to publish then are diminished down to 160 × 160. Rectangular images will be cropped from the center of the image. When you publish an update, comment or like somebody else's page, your profile photo will appear at 90 x 90 px.

A. Go to Fotor.com and click edit an image, Fundamental Edits, and after that Crop. Ensure your photo is at least 180 by 180 pixels before you start. Under Crop, enter 180 by 180 and crop the photo.

B.You may discover that the dimensions are proper but you have to resize the image. In this case, click resize. Make sure when finished cropping and resizing that your photos measurements are 180 x 180 pixels.

BTW: we nearly forgot to tell you. You can also use Picture Collage to make a Facebook Cover Picture. Actually quickly we will show you how.

1. Go to Fotor Image Collage and click Begin Now. Click which design template you prefer then scroll down on the left toolbar.

So scroll down the left hand toolbar up until you see this. Notice how you should initially unlock it and after that alter the measurements to the Facebook measurements (851 × 315).

The collage design template now appears like this. Notice you can change the border width and rounding. (I advise using the 2 vector template due to the fact that it looks a little bit cleaner).

Begin including your photos. You can change the zoom, the lightness, the filter, in addition to the rotation of each photo.

Bam. Its done! Save it then submit it as your Facebook cover picture the very same as in Part II Action 1 earlier back.
