I was so glad to read this story and know that beagles have redeeming qualities. I know they're very cute, but our neighbors have two and they are the LOUDEST, bayingest dogs I have ever heard, and they make naps impossible. It's the owners I want to throttle, of course, not the dogs. But that story is great -- I wonder if she had been trained to "use" the cell phone!
I have a Beagle/Japanese Chin mutt, her superpower is compelling my husband to sleep in. *grin*
