De-Lurking Day Is Here!

Yes, as Chris reminded me on Friday, it’s that time again. The day where we pause to say hi to the people behind the blogs we read instead of zipping through our blogrolls or feed readers as fast as we can has arrived.

I for one tend to get more comments from Russian spambots that actual people, so I welcome De-Lurking Day. Please, pop out from behind the curtain and tell me that you’re there. This is your chance to say “I hate your stupid recipes” or “Hey, we have similar taste in books. Please tell me more about what you read” or just “hi.”

If you need a specific assignment, you could tell me how your Monday is going. Here's mine: I woke up at 3 am feeling sick to my stomach, but nothing ever happened and I eventually fell back asleep. Now I have a raging sinus headache and a queasy tummy, but don’t feel sick enough to justify skipping work. So I’m about to go upstairs to stare glumly into my closet and pick something to wear to the office. My life is so glamorous.

Now get out there and comment. I promise I’ll be doing the same.

Will I be first? My monday is going well. It was my turn to sleep in (my 16 month old is getting up at 6:15am every morning) so I feel slightly more human than normal. However, I was annoyed by our outgoing president for interupting Ellen! Did he need one more press conference? :)

Hope your sinus headache and quesy tummy get better!

My Monday has been significantly improved by the fact that I'm not working today. Score one for sleeping in!

Hi Hillary,

On this official de-lurking day I thought I would let you know that I love Twilight too. It's been another thing that I lurk for/about/too/? I don't care that it's for teenage girls, it was my guilty pleasure all summer. I think I am getting over it, until they start filming New Moon that is.

Hope you are feeling better by now and are doing well in general.

Hello! My Monday is BUSY. Wrapping up my 15 day dog sitting gig, heading home for the first time in more than a month, have a freelance gig to finish, need to update resume, etc etc etc.

I was at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and now I smell like a farm, even thought I was no where near animals. I also saw for the first time an albino little girl.

De-lurking! My Monday was a typical working Monday. Now I'm enjoying reading through my Google reader!

Happy Delurking Day!

monday, ick.

I few days late, but Hi! Monday is always a tough start and this past Monday was no different.

Hello! I'm late because I suck.
